An explanation of the services I offer:

ROLL SOUND Inc. was formed in 1987 by me, Bob Dreebin, and other already experienced sound engineers to provide on location sync sound recording services for the motion picture industry.

Since the early eighties, we have logged thousands of hours of recording time on the industry’s top commercial spots in Hollywood, Phoenix and around the world. If you watch television, then you have certainly heard my quality sound recording.

At Roll Sound Inc. we constantly deliver a quality usable product. Always have and always will. For that, we are recognized industry wide.

I have worked in the motion picture sound business for 25 years now and counting, I sometimes think I have seen it all. However, I am sure more audio challenges and surprises are just around the corner.

I feel privileged to have worked with some of the most successful production companies, and talented directors and DPs in the business.

My equipment package is large and complete! (See EQUIPMENT PAGE) We feature Fostex Multi-track DVD-RAM non-linear (File based) time code recorders.

Playback packages are also offered from small to large and anything in-between.

We stock all of our own expendables, including, DVD-Ram Disks, all sizes of batteries, and mike placement supplies. We do not expect the production staff to make runs to get anything for our department....

I consider myself a Los Angeles based Sound mixer, who happens to reside in Phoenix. Most of my work is Los Angeles based, and for prominent commercial companies. (see RESUME PAGE)

We service the Los Angeles and Phoenix film communities as well as the rest of the Southwest U.S..

Our sound crew is ready and equipped for worldwide travel jobs. We have had some great travel jobs, and hope to have many more....
I have recorded sound all over the United States and Hawaii Islands, The Czech Republic, Japan, Holland, Egypt,Trinidad and Tobago, Brazil, The Philippines, Canada, St. Bartz, Easter Island (Chile), and Mexico.

Although we are best known for high quality recording on Major National Commercial spots, we also excel at many other forms of Motion Picture sound. Recording on Feature films, Documentaries, HD Video, and.... Playback on literally hundreds of major music videos round out our sound services.

With over 25 years in the business, and a complete state of the art File Based recording package, we would be happy to work with you on any project you might have coming up in the future.
